Demetria A. Davis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with certifications in Trauma Informed Care, Forensic Peer Support (Supervisor), Mental Health Integrative Medicine, and Anger Management. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology: Concentration Children and Youth from Eastern Connecticut State University, an Associate of Science Degree in Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation from Manchester Community College and a Masters in Social Work: Concentration Co-Occurring Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University.

She is the founder of B.E.S.T. Therapeutic Solutions, LLC whose mission is to serve as a window of solution-oriented interventions, life skills, community resources, and other empowering tools to improve quality of life; while Building Excellence Stability & Trust. She currently works in Community Mental Health as a Program Director and Clinical Supervisor and is an Outpatient Therapist. She is the Vice President of the Richmond Association of Black Social Workers, oversees their Social Action Committee and serves on their Gardening Committee. She also has had partnerships with 6PIC, City Builders, and Mending Walls.

 

When she is not working, she can be found reading, practicing relaxation techniques, spending time with her family and friends or traveling with her family.
